It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John William Kushniruk on January 8th, 2022.
John was born in Canora, Saskatchewan on March 23rd, 1950 and moved to his mother’s birthplace in Northampton, England in 1961. It was in England that John met Anita, who became his wife of 52 years. They moved back to Canada in 1977, where John had a very successful business in modular home sales. He developed and owned Knutsford Knoll Modular Home Park in Knutsford, BC.
He leaves to mourn his wife Anita, sons Nick (Shana) and Lee, grandsons Reese, Bennett, and Korbin. He also leaves his 2 brothers Ron and Dennis, and his 2 sisters Lin and Charmaine, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
John and Anita spent 25 years driving their motorhome to Mexico for the winter where they met lots of wonderful people. John certainly lived life his way and achieved a lot in doing so.
There will be a private service in the Kamloops Funeral Home, Friday, January 28, 2022 at 1pm.
