
Tristan Carson, 24 of Kamloops passed away peacefully at home on June 16th 2017. He was the most loving and beautiful young man. Annie Mcleod
Annie got her Angel wings at Pine Grove Seniors home on Monday morning June 12th,2017
Born on June 21 1926 at home in Bog Cushne, Scotland, But made Kamloops her home since 1963
She is survived by son Wade Lehto and wife (Hilda), son Robert Lehto jr, and daughter Margaret Chalus, stepson Will Mcleod and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her Parents George and Margaret Petrie, husband Scotty Mcleod, brother Charles Petrie, sister Margaret Edwards, Jessie Newton, Helen Tawse , Katherine Anderson.
Annie lived a full life and will be sadly missed by many.
A small celebration of her life, with refreshments after. Will be held at the Kamloops Funeral Home 285 Fortune Drive Kamloops on Monday June 26th 2017. at 1:30pm

Phyllis passed away peacefully with her family at her bedside
at Pinegrove Care Centre in Kamloops
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Cindy (husband Randy),
her grandchildren John, Rudy and Novel.
Phyllis worked in the health care industry in the B.C. lower mainland
before retiring to Kamloops to be closer to her family.
Phyllis loved animals, especially cats and enjoyed listening to the

Eric Burton McAlary, died peacefully at Ponderosa Lodge on June 14, 2017 holding hands with his wife of 32 years. He had endured a long struggle with Mixed Dementia.
The son of Burton Marter McAlary and Kathleen Kilgour Kirk, Eric was born on June 22, 1935 in Sussex, NB where he was very involved with school and community sports activities and cadets. A degree from the University of New Brunswick in Bus. Admin led him to be scouted by the Hudson’s Bay Company and upon graduation he began his training program in Calgary, AB. There he met and married Muriel Frances Beyer. They had two sons, Michael born in Calgary and Todd, in Red Deer. Promotion took the family to BC where the next ten years saw them in Victoria, Vancouver, Coquitlam, and Prince George prior to another promotion to head office in Toronto. As Principal Buyer for Sporting Goods he traveled extensively in Europe and Asia to attend sporting goods shows and to explore factories, choosing the merchandise for the giant outfit to sell across Canada and in the Northern Stores. For several years he was a board member of the Canadian Sporting Goods Association.
After the death of Muriel, Eric married Lois Machum Campbell in 1984 and moved to Kamloops, BC where for many years they enjoyed an active life together exploring the outdoors. A keen bird watcher, Eric led many Naturalist Club field trips around Kamloops and he and Lois took part in guided birding trips around the continent. Eric was president of the Naturalist Club, a volunteer Warden for Tranquille Ecological Reserve for 20 years, counted spring migrating ducks for Ducks Unlimited, was a member of the board of the Elizabeth Fry Society, and of the B.C. We are saddened to announce the passing of Vernon John McPhail on June 9, 2017 in Kamloops, B.C. with his family by his side.
Vern was predeceased by his Mother Marcella, and Father Jack. He is survived by his daughter Tammy (Scott),stepson Tom(Carol) Poulton, brother Terry, sister Dorothy (Gordon) Delong, grandchildren Tonya and Kelly, great-grandson Seth, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Vern was born in Williams Lake. B.C. on August 15, 1945. He graduated from high school early at the age of 16. Growing up he was an accomplished piano player and hockey player. He will forever be remembered as a kind, caring and generous person. He had a love of music, dancing, outdoor activities, family and friends.
Vern’s family would like to thank the staff at the Overlander Residential Care facility for their love, compassion and respect they showed him throughout his residency there.
