Paige Lynn Bailey passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 7, 2023 in Malakwa, BC. Paige was born to parents Christina Keough and Patrick Bailey on January 25, 2010 in Vancouver, BC. When Paige was two years old, her family moved to Kamloops which eventually became her home community.
Paige was a remarkable young soul who touched the hearts of everyone she met. Paige eluded happiness and joy and was truly an inspiration to many as she overcame many adversities in her short life. Paige loved being with family and after her mother and father separated, she was blessed to be raised in two homes with a tremendous amount of people who loved her.
Paige loved watching YouTube on her iPad, swimming, playing with her kitchen set, and dancing to music. Paige loved Halloween, everything from dressing up to trick or treating or singing Halloween songs; Paige never let anyone forget her special love for this occasion. Paige would often spend hours colouring, doing crafts and playing with Barbies. Always a comedian, Paige loved to joke with people she interacted with; she would do anything to make people laugh and it always worked. Paige loved holidays, and truly enjoyed having matching pajamas with her sisters every Christmas. Paige loved all family gatherings, whether it be family dinners with extended family, family vacations to places like Tofino, Port Alberni, Parksville, or the lower mainland – no event was too big or too small when it came to family. Paige adored the family cats Maizy and Millie and loved to snuggle and play with the family pomeranian Pansy.
Paige will be forever missed by her mother Christina Keogh (stepfather Jon Mackintosh), her father Patrick Bailey (stepmother Cassandra Strain) and her sisters Ivy, Sophie, Madison and Jordyn Strain.
Paige is survived by grandparents Ferne and Vince Strain of Kamloops, and Jerry and Theresa Keough of Calgary. Paige is also lovingly survived by aunts Trina, Desiree, Jolene, Jasmine, Christine Strain, and uncles Bryson and Jason Strain all of Kamloops. She will also be missed by uncles Mike (Jan) Bailey, Chris (Janice) Bailey, aunts Catherine (Gerald) Lang, Sue (Dale) Byhre, and great aunt Jaqueline Gladman. Paige was pre-deceased by her grandparents Michael Roy and Claudette Bailey. Paige will be missed by many in the community as well as several special friends from Brock Middle School.
Paige Lynn Bailey’s memorial service will be held on November 4th at 2 pm at Kamloops Funeral Home (285 Fortune Drive). A live stream of the event will be available. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kamloops Children’s Therapy and Family Resource Centre, https://www.ctfrc.com/how-funded.htm

I am so sorry for your loss. I met Paige at Brock and so enjoyed her spunkiness, love of her friends and her family. I loved it when she would run down the halls and giggle while she was being chased affectionately by staff ♥️
She had a beautiful spirit and soul.
