On May 12, 2025, after a brief illness, Patricia passed away peacefully at RIH
Patricia was born in Merthyr Tydfil and was the oldest daughter, becoming the older sister to her brother Bernard. After finishing her school years, Patricia went on to become a nurse. She worked briefly in the UK, however her love of travel led her to work in Saudi Arabia. It was there that she met Vernon and they were married in Hawaii, and both continued to work in Saudi until they both retired in Kamloops.
Patricia loved her home in Kamloops and spent many hours lounging beside her pool! She was also a great hostess to many summer parties poolside as well.
Patricia loved belly dancing and during her time overseas was known to teach some classes and was a dancer in Kamloops as well. She was also a proud member of the Red Hat Society which was fitting as her favourite colour was red!
Patricia is survived by her husband Vernon and all his family, her brother Bernard and many nieces and nephews and extended family.
A service will be held for Patricia on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 1pm at Kamloops Funeral Home at 385 Fortune Drive.

Dearest Pat was full of fun and laughter and a very loving and caring sister in law. Pat travelled through many countries during her nursing career and dedicatedly respected the traditions upheld there as well as being admired and loved by other nursing staff in her team.
Pat will be missed by many.

My Auntie, was always full of joy and laughter – looked after me and my sister very well as kids, and always had us entertained. Her belly dancing was always a delight to watch.
Will miss her and treasure her always.

Thank you Kamloops funeral home for such a beautiful service to honour ‘Auntie Pat’ as I knew her.
As many expressed, her laughter, energy, and free spirit always light up the room and she brought so much joy. She was also incredibly kind, generous, and caring to all she knew, and in her work.
We will miss you and think of you often.
All our love to Vernon and family at this hard time.
Emma xx
Patricia was my sister!
