April 1, 1938 – June 17, 2025
It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to a sister, an aunt, great aunt and great, great aunt.
Beverley is predeceased by her parents, two brothers and one sister. She is survived by one sister and many nieces and nephews.
Beverley worked for the provincial government for many years as a social worker in a number of communities in British Columbia. After her retirement from the ministry, she opened her private practice in adoption services, which included many international adoptions. Bev was always striving in her work life and personal endeavours to help others and make the world a better place.
Beverley was involved for many years in the United Church, and the Kamloops Chapter of the PEO. She was an active individual with a bright mind. She enjoyed travel and did so extensively. Bev was a very caring, unique person, a loving daughter, sister, auntie, a most loyal friend and a mother to many fur-babies throughout her life. Bev also had a delightfully wicked sense of humour. She will be missed terribly by all who knew and loved her.
Beverley will be interned by family in the Hedley cemetery to rest by her parents, two brothers and many family relatives.
-A life well lived and at peace back home, where it all began so long ago. ♥️

My condolences to Bev’s family. She was a very dedicated individual and was always kind and compassionate. I spoke with her recently and was always impressed by her positive attitude
from Elaine and Roger Webber. To dear Anne and Gordon Lloyd. Our condolences to you and your family. No doubt your family and many others will truly miss Bev. She was an exceptional woman – perceptive, bright and a beautiful embracing personality. She was memorable – a stand out. Love to you all.
Bev was a gem. A very good heart and soul. Sincere condolences to all her family and many friends.
A long time family friend from the Similkaneen valley. Such great connections and memories over the years. Rest in peace Bev.
Condolences to the family from the Robb family from Princeton.
Bev and I said our final goodbye by email a few weeks ago after she let me know she was in the hospital.
She loved Hedley so much. Anytime I wanted to know anything about the history of any of the families in Hedley, Bev was my first phone call. There was not much that she didn’t know about the town and she had wonderful stories, always mixed with a touch of humour. So smart and bright.
Goodbye cousin. You will be missed.
Eric
Bev was a caring and compassionate soul. She hired me into social work in the 80’s which started a 30 year career working with government! She was also an important figure in the Kamloops United Church community of faith. Go with God, Bev.
I am very saddened by the passing of Beverley, it is a blessing to me to have known her, will surely miss her smiles and sense of humor.
Condolences to the family.
