It is with an incredibly heavy heart that we must announce the passing of our son Carson Wayne Murray.

The world lost an incredible boy at the young age of 13. Anyone who knew Carson knew that he was so kind and caring. Carson had such an amazing sense of humour, and always knew how to make people laugh. His smile was infectious and would light up the room. Carson was naturally athletic and played many sports. His passion and dedication for hockey and skate boarding could not be denied.

Carson may have only been in this world for 13 years, but he has made a lasting impact on all of the people who loved him.

Let’s send all of our love to Carson who will watch down on all of his family and friends forevermore.

A celebration of life will be held at the Logan Lake Recreation Centre on March 2nd at 3:30pm. This is an open invitation to show Carson how much he is loved. We ask that everyone embrace Carson by wearing bright colours or plaid clothing. We want to honour Carson in the way he would have wanted. Please come to sing, dance and party as he would have wanted.

As part of the facility’s procedures, please have your Proof of Vaccine available upon entry to the building.

It is with great sadness that we announce that Patrick Joseph Belanger passed away in his sleep.

Patrick was born in Kenora, Ontario. He was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Malvina Belanger, his brothers Henry and Bobby and his, sister Marie Williams.

Patrick is survived by his loving wife Annel of 58 years, his three daughters Lisa Belanger (Dave Schultz), Angela (Dick) Biro, Lori (Jim) Gilliland, grandsons Rylan (Karli) and Marcus (Michelle) Degenhardt (Lisa), Lachlan and Logan (Lori/Jim) Gilliland, Lucas and Landon (Angela/Dick) Biro and great grandchildren Hudson and Henslee (Marcus/Michelle) Degenhardt.

At a young age, Patrick moved to Kamloops to live with his sister, Marie.  His parents followed a short while later.  Patrick enjoyed 35 years working for the Land Title Office, retiring at the age of 54.

Patrick was very active in slow pitch and spent much of his time as a pee wee hockey coach. He was an avid fan of the Montreal Canadiens.

Patrick loved camping and taking family trips. Along some of his travels, he met John Diefenbaker and Gordie Howe.  Some of his favorite trips were going across Canada by CN Rail, visiting the Hockey Hall of Fame, taking an Alaskan cruise and vacationing in Mesa, Arizona.

Patrick will be missed so very much.  We are comforted to know he has gone to be with the Lord.

Thank you to the nurses and doctors at Royal Inland Hospital and Trinity Hospice.

At Patrick’s request, a small family ceremony was held on February 25, 2022.

Melvina, (wife, mom and Baba) passed away peacefully surrounded by family in Kamloops, BC at the age of 80.

She leaves her love and husband of 61 years, Martin Fedora. Her children: Clifford, Colleen (Kerry) and Corinne,
8 grandchildren: Taylar (Peter), Taya (Matt), Devin, Chelsea (Tory),
Courtney (Justin), Austin, Reid and Abel (Brandon), 7 great-grandchildren: Charlie, Rosie, Beau, Maya, Eli, Kaisha and Connor.

Also survived by brothers: Melvin (Betty), Ritchie Charlie (Betty), sisters: Judy, Donna, Cindy (Barry), Christine (Raymond) and brother-in-law Arthur. Also, numerous
aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Melvina was born in Lamont Alberta and raised on the family farm between Tofield and Chipmen Alberta. She married Martin in 1961.
They lived in Edmonton, Prince George and finally settled in Kamloops BC.

Melvina will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her contagious
laugh and her love for her family.

Charlie, born in Kingston, Ontario, grew up in Camden East, Ontario, running free with his friends and co-conspirators, finding adventures and taking risks. Charley relived those adventures, all his life, through the stories he shared.

Charlie married his life-long partner, Jean Hanaghan (nee Richmond), December 27, 1952, and died shortly after their 69th anniversary.

Charlie is survived by his wife Jean, and his sons, Bob (Charolette) Hanaghan, Jeff (Trudy) Hanaghan, and daughter Claire Hanaghan.
He is survived by his grandchildren, Shelly (Jeff) Peterson, Brent (Kassandra) Hanaghan, Caleb (Chelsea) Hanaghan, Carla (Shawn) Karst, Tanya (Leighton) Garfield, Claye Hanaghan, and Maci Dyck, as well as great grandchildren; Sydney, Hayley, Taylor, Cale, Charli, Emery,
Farron, Lev, Fen.

Charlie was predeceased by his son, Stephen Hanaghan and his
grandson Jesse Hanaghan.

Dad loved to travel and with mom, and they saw so much of North America, from the southern U.S. border, to the Arctic Circle and from
west coast to east, many times.  Charlie and Jean enjoyed many travel adventures with friends and family through the years, sharing lots of laughter, and creating their shared lifelong memories.

Charlie and Jean settled in Kamloops in 1968, after moving west to BC in 1964 to Taylor, BC, to work on the Alaska Highway and then pipeline jobs.  Charlie was a 50 year member of the I.U.O.E. (International Union of Operating Engineers) and spent much of his career working pipeline jobs across Canada.

Charlie loved children and dogs most of all, oh, and cars! And he found happiness with each of these loves.

Charlie lived in his own home until the end of his life, and in his
90th year, was a proud and licensed driver.  Charlie’s independence
was very important to him and we are all thankful he spent his
final years in his own home.

Charlie’s family and friends will miss his big smile,
his stories, his love for cars, and his feistiness.

We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Penny Lynne Adams.

Penny will be dearly missed by her husband of 30 years: Darrell Adams, her children: Brandan Adams, Brittany Adams (Corwin), parents: Keith & Bonnie Groff, sister: Pam Moen (Blaine), mother-in-law: Lynne Adams (Dewayne), sister-in-law: Rolanda Beachamp (Ryan), numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces. Predeceased by father-in-law: Ted Adams.

Penny was a proud mother and friend to everyone. She believed in treating people fairly and would never hesitate to let you know if you weren’t doing so.
Penny loved children and giving the kids swimming lessons at her favourite spot – her pool. She enjoyed company and inviting people
over to socialize on the deck with a bevy (and a bestie).

Penny loved birthdays and special occasions – any excuse to have a gathering. She loved giving and receiving, what she called “birthday money”, all year long. Penny loved her family immensely – more than
can be described in words.

A pool party Celebration of Life for Penny will follow this summer.
