Dennis Richard Bossert 1944 — 2021

Dennis Richard Bossert

Dennis passed away peacefully on October 14 in Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice with his family by his side, after a long 27 month courageous struggle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 54 years Marise, son Richard (Kelley), granddaughter Laurel, step-granddaughters Kayla and Amy, siblings Glenn, Brenda and Karen, brother-in-law Jim Stuart (Irene) and many other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his dearly missed son Gregory (2014), parents Emanuel and Elizabeth Bossert, in-laws Jim and Doreen Stuart.

Dennis was born and raised in Kamloops, graduating from Norkam Secondary. He spent his working years at numerous different positions in Kamloops, retiring early.

Thank you to Dr. Cattaneo, Dr. Pwint, Dr. MacDonald, Dr. Kanji, all the nurses at the Kamloops Cancer Clinic, and all the nurses at Kamloops Home and Community Care. Also, many thanks to that special group of nurses and staff, at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice, who looked after Dennis in his final days; you will not be forgotten.

As per his wishes, there will be no service and his cremated remains will be placed beside his son’s niche in Hillside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice, or Royal Inland Hospital Cancer Clinic in Dennis’ name would be appreciated.

Sandra Moore 1951 — 2021

Sandra Moore

We are sad to announce that Sandra (Sandi) Lee Moore of Kamloops suddenly passed away with her family by her side as the sun rose and shone upon her on October 12, 2021, at 69 years of age.  She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Paddy, her two sons Jay and Tyler, her daughter-in-law and granddaughter, Anjie and Kiya, grand puppy Maggie, and her sister, Sharon and family.  She is predeceased by her parents, Stan and Dorothy Williams, grandmother Winnie, sister Wendy, and brothers Buddy and Terry.  Sandi was a proud pioneer and first independent consultant of The Pampered Chef in BC (excluding the lower mainland).  She enjoyed cooking, softball and spending time at the cabin (aka “The Rock”) at Loon Lake.  She also loved going for coffee and playing rummoli with her friends, as well as trips to Vegas.  She was a beloved grandmother to the apple of her eye Kiya.  Sandi was taken too soon and will be greatly missed and always remembered by her family and friends.  A graveside service will be held at 11am on Friday, October 29th at Hillside Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation in Sandi’s honour to the charity of your choice.  Please note that masks and social distancing are required at the service.

Spiros Louvros 1931 — 2021

Spiros Louvros

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my dad Spiros Louvros on October 8, 2021

Predeceased by his parents, brothers, sisters, and of course his beloved son Jim,

Spiros leaves behind a daughter Elana (John), three grandkids (James, Arianna, Braedon), and an estranged son (Nick).

Spiros was born January 15, 1931 in Corfu, Greece and immigrated to Canada in 1956.

Spiros worked for CN and then went on to retire as a custodian with the school district.

Dad’s passions in life were cooking, visiting with grandkids, gardening, and fishing.

There will be a prayers and service with COVID protocols.

Prayers to be held October 14, 2021 at 6:00pm.

Service to be held October 15, 2021 at 11:00am at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of All Saints, 1044 8th Street Kamloops.

Bradley Joseph Lachmuth 1952 — 2021

Bradley Joseph Lachmuth

Bradley Joseph Lachmuth of Kamloops, BC, passed away suddenly on October 4, 2021 at the age of 69. The family is deeply saddened by his passing and he will be immensely treasured. Brad was born on March 19, 1952, to Al and Iris Lachmuth in Humboldt, Saskatchewan. Anyone who knew Brad was touched by his kindness, humor, and mild temperament. He was truly a caring man and was always a source of positivity. Brad operated his own car restoration business for many years prior to 26 years of foster parenting. Brad was passionate about antique cars and enjoyed the camaraderie of the Roadmen Car Club members.

Brad is survived by his loving wife Lee Lachmuth, daughters Karen (Tracy) Moore and Betty (Charles) Lapeyre, son Bobby (Tyrell) McLellan, grandchildren Jaxon, Colton, Dillion, Sandra, Brandon, and Nathan, and great grandson Andy, and many foster children and foster grandchildren. Also, his brother Grant Lachmuth and wife Beth of Summerland, BC, niece Rachel Lachmuth, nephew Erik (Tennile) Lachmuth, and their children Danielle, Eryn, and Pearson. Brad was blessed with many cousins, and aunts and uncles who he shared many family memories with.

Forever loved, forever missed, and forever in our hearts!
There will be a Celebration of Life held in his honour on Friday October 22, 2021 at 11am.
This will take place at Kamloops Funeral Home, 285 Fortune Drive, Kamloops, BC. (Proof of vaccination will be required for attendance inside the building)
Contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to Kamloops Wildlife Park.

Albert “Bert” Edgeworth 1928 — 2021

Albert “Bert” Edgeworth

Born in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, grew up a on a farm near Katrim, Manitoba. Bert worked for a variety of jobs, including CNR, which led him to Kamloops, BC, where he met Irene. They got married, started a family and he worked for the City of Kamloops until his retirement in 1993. Bert was a dedicated volunteer with Scouts Canada for more than 40 years. He was known to fellow Scouters as “Bolts”. Bert was an active participant in Chartwell Kamloops Retirement Residence and he loved to dance. Bert is survived by his children – Ron (Brenda) Edgeworth, Gordon (Debra) Edgeworth, Brian (Niki) Edgeworth, Mike (Roberta) Edgeworth, Darrell (Cheryl) Edgeworth, many grandchildren – Megan, Jenny, Kristin, David, Jami, Kara, Kymbrlee, Dan, Adam, Carson & Bryce, and great grandchildren , sisters Helen Klatt, Olive Proctor and Hazel Gunn.  He is predeceased by his wife Irene Edgeworth, 2nd wife Terry Edgeworth, brothers – Orville, Bob, Ken and sister Margaret.

Special thank you to all Chartwell Kamloops staff for their continued care and support. A special thank you to RIH staff in the ER and 4 North for their excellent care and compassion.

Bert is loved and will be missed by family.

Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, October 12th at 11am in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery.
