Scott “Scotty Boy” Tasker met the Reaper July 26, 2021 surrounded by family. If it weren’t for the fact that he had a “hall pass” of being baptized, he would be causing Lucifer a hell of a lot of problems! Let’s hope God has a twisted sense of humour!
Scott is known for his hilarious sense of humour, ridiculous pranks, and hard work ethic. If he wasn’t causing a laugh, he was working; overtime, on his house, or his Hot Rod Hearse (something the Reaper himself would be jealous of!). He had a tough exterior (with a colourful vocabulary) but was a huge softy on the inside – especially when it came to his family. He loved time spent with his kids and grandkids.
Scott is survived by his loving wife Laurel, six children; Sarah (Corey) Church, Blair (Krista) Tasker, Shaun Tasker, Lisa Tasker, Karalee Aiken, Samantha (Cody) Gammon, ten grandchildren, and two siblings. He is predeceased by his parents and two siblings.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Kamloops Hospice Association.
Give ’em hell, Scotty!

Peacefully on July 19, 2021 in his 84th year, Benoit Joseph Fouillard passed into Eternal Life at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops with his family at his bedside. Ben was the 8th child born to Benoit & Leontine Fouillard (Simard) in St. Lazare, MB. He is survived by sisters Anita Fouillard and Jacqueline Lemoine and predeceased by siblings Denis, Rosalie, Marie, Corinne, Lazare, and Paul-Emile. Left to mourn his passing are his loving wife, Clara, son Desmond, daughter Jacqueline (Dale), and grandchildren (Cody, Jenna, Xander, Quinten, Jaidyn). He will forever be in our hearts.
Ben was first and foremost a family man with a deep faith in God. He was big-hearted, generous and enjoyed being of help to others, especially with his mechanical abilities. Flying was his passion and he happily told stories of his years as a bush pilot.
Over the past several years, his health declined. Not being able to putter in his workshop was a huge hardship for him.
A funeral Mass will take place at St. John Vianney Parish, 2826 Bank Road on July 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.Read More & Leave Condolences »

It is with great sadness to advise Mary Ann passed away suddenly in Kamloops BC on June 29, 2021.
Born in New Westminster BC to John (Bill) and Helen Nikkel; she was the eldest of two daughters. They made their homes throughout BC in Port Coquitlam, Haney, MacKenzie and Kamloops. In MacKenzie she graduated high school, volunteered with the RCMP and worked as a Library Page at the local library. But nothing drew her interest and love more than in her young adult years working in Barkerville one fine summer.Read More & Leave Condolences »

Donald Robert Franklin Blumenauer of Kamloops passed away on July 7, 2021 at 86 years of age. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Marena, daughters Barb of Kamloops and Allison (Jim) of Nanaimo, grandchildren Eva and Jenna, and his brother Chuck. He was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Margaret, and brothers Ralph and Gilbert.
Don was an exceptional husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was witty, intelligent, and a big tease at heart. Don had many opinions that he was willing to share, whether you wanted him to or not! He loved his family, friends, agriculture, photography, hockey, gardening and travel. Dad was an avid member of the Society of Range Management throughout his career and retirement. He mentored many agrologists early in their career. He was a dedicated Blazers fan, in good times and in bad times, with the Blazers Memorial Cup win being a highpoint. Dad’s annual trip with his Agi friends, throughout the years, was a treasured memory for him.Read More & Leave Condolences »
